Statistical Deceptions

Last week on NPR, a professor in the Sloan School of Management at MIT explained that what is really at stake in the health-care bill is the U.S. government's ability to borrow. In other words, the bill is about cutting health-care costs, not about providing hard-pressed Americans with health care.

The professor said that if we didn't get health-care costs under control, in 30 years the U.S. government would not be able to sell Treasury bonds.

It is not at all clear that the Treasury will be able to sell its debt instruments in 30 months, and it has nothing to do with health-care costs. The Treasury debt-marketing problem has to do with two back-to-back U.S. fiscal year budgets each with a $2 trillion deficit. The size of the U.S. deficit exceeds in these troubled times the supply of world savings available to fund the U.S. government's wars, bailouts and stimulus plans. If the Federal Reserve has to monetize the Treasury's new borrowings by creating demand deposits for the Treasury (printing money), America's foreign creditors might flee the dollar.

The professor didn't seem to know anything about this and gave Washington 30 more years before the proverbial hits the fan.

One looks in vain to the U.S. financial media for accurate economic information. Currently, Wall Street, the White House and the media are hyping a new sign of economic recovery — "surging" June home sales. John Williams at shadowstats.com predicted this latest reporting deception...

The 14th Amendment was adopted JULY 28, 1868, because southern States, though forced to end slavery by the 13th Amendment, did not grant citizenship to freed slaves. Southern Democrat Legislatures passed Black Codes requiring freed slaves to be "apprenticed" to "employers" and punished any who left. Illinois Republican Congressman John Farnsworth said March 31, 1871: "The reason for the adoption [of the 14th Amendment]...was because of...discriminating...legislation of those States...by which they were punishing one class of men under different laws from another class." Republican John Bingham of Ohio, who introduced the 14th Amendment,said: "I repel the suggestion... that the Amendment will...take away from any State any right that belongs to it." Yet after the Amendment was ratified, activist Federal Judges did just that, as Thomas Jefferson had forewarned Charles Hammond in 1821: "The germ of dissolution of our... government is in...the federal judiciary...working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow...until all shall be usurped from the States." The 14th Amendment soon became a door by which Federal Courts took other rights, eventually religion, away from States' jurisdiction.

Please take very serious consideration about taking the swine flu vaccines. If people get it are they not protected? Then why do I have to get one? Also there is a article from the Mayo Clinic that states that anyone getting a flu vaccine is three times likely to get the flu. Also vaccines by pass the natural immunity system. If you are healthy and take the proper per cautions you dramaticly lessen you probability to getting the flu, which by far goes further than any vaccine. Roger Sherman was the only person to sign all four of America'sfounding documents: the Articles of Association-1774, the Declarationof Independence-1776, the Articles of Confederation-1777, and the U.S.Constitution-1787. At age 19, Roger Sherman's father died and he supported his family asa shoe cobbler, helping two younger brothers attend college and become clergymen. Roger Sherman was a surveyor and merchant, but when a neighbor needed legal advice, he studied to help, only to be inspired to be a lawyer. Roger Sherman was elected a state senator, a judge and a delegate to the Continental Congress. He helped draft the Declaration of Independence and gave instructions to an embassy to Canada: "That all civil rights and the right to hold office were to be extended to persons of any Christian denomination." Roger Sherman made 138 speeches at the Constitutional Convention, and in the first session of Congress, thought a First Amendment unnecessary, as religion was under each individual States' jurisdiction. Elected a U.S. Senator at age 70, Roger Sherman died JULY 23, 1793. Inscribed on his tomb is: "He ever adorned the profession of Christianity which he made in youth and...died in the prospect of a blessed immortality."

Dawkins, Who is not a bright guy?

Who is not a bright guy? In a interview with Bill Maher, Mr. Dawkins calls Mr. Collins not a bright guy. Well in another interview with Mr. Stein, Mr. Dawkins was not a positive as he is with Mr. Maher. At least Mr. Dawkins is smart enough now to say he cannot 100% say there is not God or a god of any type. It is ironic that Mr. Dawkins book is entitled "The God Delusion." One could say the only one with a delusion is Mr. Dawkins. He talks out both sides of his mouth. He states religion should be expunged from the planet. While he cannot admit that his worldview of Atheism is a religion also. Even Issac Asimov stated "I am an atheist, out and out. It took me a long time to say it. I've been an atheist for years and years, but somehow I felt it was intellectually unrespectable to say on was an atheist, because it assumed knowledge that one didn't have. Somehow it was better to say one was a humanist or an agnostic. I finally decided that I'm a creature of emotion as well as of reason. Emotionally, I am an atheist. I don't have the evidence to prove that God doesn't exist, but I so strongly suspect he doesn't that I don't want to waste my time."

You see Mr. Asimov (who was one of the top scientist of his time) admits that he doesn't have evidence to disprove God. He also admits that his atheism is just humanism with a different name and that it is an emotional belief. He doesn't even want to go to the evidence, because "he doesn't want to waste his time. " I strongly suspect that he didn't want to go there because of his own hart and didn't want to submit to God.

Mr. Dawkins, Asimov, and Maher remind me so much of Romans chapter one it is not funny. "From the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what He has made. As a result, people are without excuse. For they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became nonsense, and their senseless minds were darkened.
